For rapid prototyping, Micromecc uses an Objet EDEN 260 machine which presents a net work volume of 260 x 260 x 260mm. Actually, the maximum work dimensions do not comprise a true and proper limit to the construction of prototypes larger thant the machine limits since special couplings can be made to join several pieces toghether.The utilisable materials are four different colours, specifically transparente FullCure®720 yellow, VeroBlue blue, VeroWhite white and VeroBlack black. The technology used is photopolumer (PlyHet™ technology) and, in fact, about 16 micron slices of the object are layered which are polymerised with an ultraviolet lamp.
The 3D ultra thin micron polymer spray mould system guarantees smooth surfaces and particularly precise details, allowing the realisation of high quality and precision models.
The technology utilised allows the realisation of already assembled details with the possibility of mechanisms.
