Micromecc has experience in the design and prototyping of devices below the micrometer scale (microfabrication).The company has contributed to the design and manufacturing the prototype of the Glucopen painless device for measuring blood glucose. The device makes use of needles thinner than a human hair to pick up a micro-drop of interstitial fluid by which to measure the concentration of glucose.
